Bellows + Inner Braid + Outer Braid Exhaust Flexible Pipe Description
A flexible exhaust pipe is an essential part of the exhaust system to absorb vibrations and prevent excessive thermal deformation, ensuring superior performance. In the automobile field, it has become a key and ideal component in the auto industry supporting flexible pipes.
Automotive Exhaust Connectors (Bellows) with inner braid and outer braid consist of an internal sleeve of stainless steel wire braiding provided on the inner diameter. These types of connectors are used when the noise level and temperature are normally more than usual.
Engine characteristics and the flow of the air over the bellows can cause noise. When this happens, the internal sleeve braid reduces the noise level and dissipates heat. In case, if any excessive movement occurs because of wear and tear, then the internal braid sleeve prevents the bellows from being extended too far. Normally, the exhaust connector is used when the exhaust system temperature is up to 800ºC.
