Islamabad Buzz News Desk – The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) have jointly introduced the National Freelance Training Program (NFTP). This initiative is now open for applications for its upcoming phase, with the goal of providing online job opportunities to young individuals all across Pakistan. By enrolling in the National Freelance Training Program, aspiring freelancers can acquire the necessary skills to thrive in the digital marketplace and earn a decent income.
The program focuses on training participants in high-demand digital skills, equipping them with the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in the freelancing industry. Remarkably, more than 11,000 students have already completed the training and have collectively earned over $2.25 million in foreign exchange.
To further encourage participation, the government is offering substantial fee discounts, ranging from 70% to 100%. To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess a valid National Identity Card (CNIC), be residents of their respective provinces, and have completed at least 14 years of education. The age range for admission is set between 18 and 40 years.
This program presents an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to enhance their digital skills and pursue freelance work. It not only supports personal growth but also contributes to the country’s economic development by empowering the youth and increasing foreign exchange earnings.
To make the training more accessible, the National Freelance Training Program has established 20 centers across Pakistan. These centers offer a three-month training program to unemployed youth in Technical Content Marketing, Advertising, and Creative Designing.
Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will receive training completion certificates. These certificates will be awarded based on formal performance evaluation and rating. Evaluation criteria include attendance, student performance, and completion of assigned tasks throughout the course. The training program has a duration of three months.
