The NFT is sold in units, which are called “mass,” which is why it has multiple owners. Pak, another NFT’ Clock’, also has various owners. The collectors of the NFT together bought 266,445 masses, and at the time of sale, each mass had a cost of $575. The marketplace which was used for the selling of this NFT is Nifty Gateway.

2.      Everyday: The First 5000 Days     

Everyday: The First 5000 Days is considered an expensive NFT sold for $69.3 million at Christie’s marketplace. Renowned NFT was created by Mike Winkelmann, also named it as Beeple. The NFT is presenting a collage of Beeple work consisting of 5000 artworks. The college is, in fact, a journey of Beeple’s work that how he has started and now how has he emerged to an unbeatable NFT creator through the years. You may be curious to know about the buyer of this NFT. However, Vignesh has purchased this valuable and expensive NFT. The second bid was by CEO and founder Justin Sun. He bade $60.2 million before it was sold. 

3.      Clock 

The NFT was created by artist Pak whose main aim was to donate the amount to Wau Holland Stiftung Moral Courage Project for adding his financial support in defense of Assange. The NFT is expensive because it was sold for 16,593 ETH, equal to $52.7 million.

The creator of the NFT market it to show the days since founder Julian Assange was imprisoned. So, to raise funds for his legal defense, Pak then donated all the funds to Assange’s defense. Not only this single NFT, but Pak also created another NFT that generated $91.8 million during the sale period. 

4.      People, Human One

People, Human One is also included in the list of expensive NFTs. The NFT was sold for $29.98 million. More buyers wanted to invest and buy Beepls’s NFT. But, the crypto billionaire Ryan Zurrer bade the highest price and purchased the NFT.

As you know that Beeple’s NFTs are the most popular and always remain in the top three of the most expensive categories. Human One NFT is of an astronaut wandering across a shifting environment. According to the Beeple statement, he will update the sculpture with time to put life in the NFT. So, then the NFT will not be static. 

5.      CryptoPunk #5822

These kinds of faces as NFTs may look stranger for you, but they are always on the list claiming to have been sold for higher prices. These avatars that are based on 10,000 Ethereum were minted in 2017. The Larva Labs, developers from Canada, had given it for free. A huge amount is generated from this kind of NFT.

However, CryptoPunk #5822 was sold for $23.7 Million in February 2022. The reason for its expensiveness is its rareness. The buyer of the NFT is from China, who is the CEO of cloud Blockchain infrastructure, Deepak Thapliyal. 

6.      CryptoPunk #7523

CryptoPunk #7523 is also a rare kind of alien NFT. It was also sold for a higher amount until the above-mentioned NFT was sold for a higher price. The NFT is featured as putting on a mask that shows an attribute to fight against the COVID. This item is also included in the list of expensive NFTs. CryptoPunk #7523 is part of the alien collection. Shalom Mackenzie bought it for $11.8 million. And he told Decrypt that he had wanted that NFT because it was the rarest in the punks, and it was the only alien putting on a mask; as you know, NFTs have some symbolism to the real world. Similarly, CryptoPunk #7523 has been symbolized with protection against Covid-19.

7.      Right-Click and Save As Guy

The NFT shows a figure wearing large shades and a hoodie, and its red lips constantly moving, pretending to say something. Right-click and Save as Guy were sold for $7.08 million on the super rare marketplace in December 2021. The buyer of the NFT was Cosimo de Medici.

8.      Beeple’s Crossroad 

As you know that an NFT can be a video, so, Beeple’s Crossroad is an animated short video where a huge body is fallen on a road, having written disliking sentences on, and people are passing by carelessly. The NFT was sold for $6.6 million in February 2021 on the Nifty Gateway market. That is the reason that it is one of the most expensive NFTs ever sold. 

The artistic NFT was created by Mike Winkelmann, known for his exceptional work. The reason for being expensive of the NFT is its hidden message about the indifference of the parallel society with the people in trouble. The NFT is from Beeple’s series “Every day.” The artwork was sold on the Nifty Gateway marketplace for $ 6 million on March 23, 2021. The buyer of the NFT was Justin Sun, the CEO and founder of the Tron Foundation. 

The NFT shows a platform in the middle of an ocean where many containers are stacked upon each other, and top of all is a man-made tree underneath which there are Mushrooms. 

10.  This Changed Everything 

The NFT is of the code used decades ago for the earliest version of WWW (World Wide Web) by the computer scientist Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee. The ‘This Changed Everything’ was sold on June 30, 2021, for $5.4 million to an unknown user. The NFT reflects the history of the internet that how it emerged from that letter to an advanced level of programming.
